UL schools list team-level revenue sharing budgets despite new state law

Louisiana Tech University will spend nearly $2 million in public money to pay its student-athletes this year, while the University of Louisiana at Lafayette will devote $1.5 million to its sports teams.

Some 58K Medicaid recipients in La. might fall short of work requirements

As many as 58,000 Louisiana Medicaid recipients might have to take additional steps to meet the new federal work requirements for the program that go into effect in January, according to information from the state health department.
